Jaya Spirit, Jaya Blue and Jaya Extra at the Seoul Food 2022 Trade Fair

At the invitation of the ASEAN-Korea Center, Confirel participated in the Seoul Food 2022 International Trade Fair held at KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center) in the Korean capital from June 7 to 10. The purpose of the fair was to provide an opportunity for ASEAN participants to showcase and promote their F&B and packaging-related products and explore new markets in Korea.

The program included a product exhibition at the ASEAN-Korea Center Pavilion and one-on-one online/offline business meetings to promote ASEAN F&B companies to strengthen business networks with Korea.

This event was an opportunity for Confirel to preview Jaya Blue and Jaya Extra which join Jaya Palm Spirit to enrich its palm wine and spirits range. In a new packaging designed by Melon Rouge Agency, the Jaya range is a tribute to the fighting spirit of Khmer farmers.

Jaya comes from Sanskrit and means “Victory”. The Tonle Sap River led explorers to discover Angkor, which was then in a state of abandonment. Jaya Spirit symbolizes the revenge on this abandonment and wants to embody the victory of Khmer peasants against poverty.

Obtained from the distillation of sugar palm wine (Borassus flabellifer), it is available in three products:

Jaya Spirit, which has a caramelized aroma typical of Borrasus flabellifer sugar, with a bouquet similar to that of a bourbon ;

Jaya Blue, which owes its aroma to natural aromatic and medicinal herbs from Cambodia and Kampot pepper. With an appetite stimulating effect, it also helps the body to digest well during a festive meal. Its rich smell of spices and palm sugar provides a lasting pleasure throughout its tasting;

Finally, Jaya Extra which contains, in addition to natural aromatic and medicinal herbs from Cambodia and Kampot pepper, a subtle touch of black ginger (Kaempferia Parviflora). The natural essences contained in this mixture give, by adding water and ice cubes, an ecological pastis aspect. It awakens all the senses thanks to its rich and unique aroma and the tones and aphrodisiac effect of black ginger.
